Soundxposure was started in 2005, by two dudes named Rob and Ben.
Rob and Ben met while working for a market research firm in Portland, OR. Ben was one of two Operations Analysts, while Rob was the Senior Operations Director (Ben's boss). Both Ben and Rob worked together for over 4 years.
The idea for Soundxposure.com came about one day when Rob mentioned to Ben that it was hard to find sites on the internet that were easy to use, and could provide proper feedback for artists regarding their tracks.
At that time, Ben had recently founded a small web design company called Mad Fish.Info. The company specialized in hosting and web design services for eCommerce business. Having an abundance of bandwidth and server disk space, Ben pieced together the site you see today.
Alot has happened to both of us since this site was first concieved. Rob has left his position at Research Data Design, and Ben has left too (don't worry, we both left on great terms). Rob left so he could take a less demanding position and focus the time needed on soundxposure.com. Ben on the other hand, quit to return to school and tend to Mad Fish.Info's growing needs.
The site went live in March 2006, and is showing great results. We understand the current site leaves much to be desired, so please use the contact form to give us your input for services that you'd like to see. Bear in mind that a new site will soon be released sometime in June.
We're not quite sure how this whole thing is gonna work, all we know is we've invested (and continue to invest) all our time and energy into making it a success... so tell your friends to upload some music, and get their tracks Xposed to the world.
