ALEX CEBE ( 1963 ) OUTDOOR SOLO ACOUSTIC GUITAR PLAYER IT'S A LONG/LONG WAY FOLKS ! My first acoustic guitar : 1979 . How can I transform my mind on music ? Playing the life ... with a general look around . Solo playing on the streets of Sao Paulo city ( Brazil ) ... It's not a regional music : it's a state of soul . The melody is raw . MUSIC IS THE LINK BETWEEN YOU AND THE UNIVERSE .. How do I define my music ? I think that I am everything I have found on my way . I attended College of Music for two years and a half but I had to quit for rea$on$ beyond my control . Im autodidact . I research a lot ; I listen to all kinds of songs and like them all . Many nice people teach me lots of things . I play since 1979 but only after 2003 Ive been dedicating more seriously to music study and composition . I value the fact of having studied music in college but everything I do now results from what Ive been learning in LIFE, my best school . All songs I composed were conceived in moments of absolute solitude and came out in assays , improvisations and continuous observation . My musical influence comes from several artists whose work I admire . I always play alone and intend to go on that way . I wouldnt deny joining a team , because I believe that every musician has something to teach to the others , and a band is a good thing to listen to and watch . But playing in a band is a secondary alternative . I chose solo work because playing and composing alone make me feel more comfortable . I make shows on streets in several places in Sao Paulo . I also play in some friends parties . My purpose ? Compose . Always . Try to transmit the message of Goodness . Playing songs that drive listeners to reflection and self-consciousness experiences ...
