Willy Steve Hendricks was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in and around McKinney. I really can't understand how I came this far before I finally picked up a guitar, for I have enjoyed music my entire life. I purchased my first guitar in '02, bought a chord book, and proceeded to teach myself how to play. After just about running off all my local friends, I finally got this thing down! I play in public several times a week and now have a four piece band called the Burn Band & these guys are awesome musicians. Most of my gigs are in the North Texas/Southern Oklahoma area, but have to say, my favorite area for music, is in the Texas Hill Country. Actually, I guess I would have to say it's my favorite area for anything! I own a small 200 acre ranch in the Hill Country and I spend every minute I can down there. Even though it's a seven hour drive, I still book gigs in that area whenever I can. My favorite original is called Reflections made of 70 song titles from songs Willie Nelson has recorded! I cover approximately 250 songs, Sixty of which are of my personal Hero, Willie Nelson. My music, is an obsession! I use my guitar, as if it were a tool, to help me through this life! *WS
