I do all this on my home computer, with my assembled guitar kit, cheap mic and me. All my equipment including guitar, bass, mic, computer, and software was under $1000, and my room is not sound proofed. Actually it's just my bedroom. I think it sounds pretty good for what I have, and I'm just learning how to mix and master on my own. It's actually a lot harder to do than I thought it would be. Bottom line is I love music and I love to create. I am trying to get a real drum kit soon, with mics. I wouldnt mind playing live at shows, but I would need to get some band members first! *Update*
Well now lately I've been using Sonar 6,(basically the same thing I was using before, Guitar Tracks Pro 3, but with midi capablity) and EZD DFH so it opens things up for me a little more. 3 new songs using these are 10 to the Minus 43rd, Equus Hemionus and Static. Hope you like em.
