Justin was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Soon after birth he moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma where he went to elementary school in his childhood. Learning that he had a passion for music, he started playing piano at age five. At age seven, he could play complete scores. Later in his childhood during middle school, he started to play trumpet for the Shawnee Middle School band where he progressed quickly and was playing in first chair after a couple months. Due to his parents' seperation at his age of nine, his mother moved around the country and finally settled in Golden, Colorado. His father James stayed in Shawnee and had custody of Justin. Deciding to move with his mother Rebeca at age thirteen, he started at Bell Middle School where he continued to play in band and again progressed to first chair almost instantly. After learning many instruments, he found that guitar was his favorite. Justin began to learn guitar when he enrolled into Golden High School, where he learned they had a guitar class. He progressed quickly. In his second semester of freshman year, Justin was co-teaching the class under his teacher. he continued to teach the class for two more years. Justin lost most of his teenage years in his room writing songs. His guitar teacher retired and justin gave up on school, he then began to focus more on his passion of music. His projects have never been successful due to many bandmates who weren't reliable. He played with other bands for the exposure, but played minimal shows. Many bands later, he decided to create his own project and record all of the instruments himself using inadequate recording equipment to create rough draft songs for later professional recordings. He started his project in 2001 and has been continuing to follow his dream of success.
