Welcome to SoundXposure.com! This site is designed to allow independent, unsigned artists to expose their original music to fans and casual listeners, while gauging the popularity of their musical creations. It gives the music fan the opportunity to be exposed to emerging artists while helping to determine which artists are up and comers and which ones should go back to the basement for some practice. Artist and Member/Fan Basic membership is free!

1. SoundXposure.com membership is for individuals 13 years of age and older only. We do not intend, and this Site is not designed, to collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old, do not register for our services or otherwise provide information on our Site.

2. You agree that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and that you are not representing parties for whom you do not have legal authority to represent.

3. Your account is for your personal use only. You may not authorize others to use your account, and you may not assign or transfer your account to any other person or entity. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of our service, except as allowed by SoundXposure.com. You agree not to make commercial use of this site or its contents; including the collection and use of any search results, listings, data, or other content; any derivative use of this site or its contents; or any use of data mining, robots, screen-scraping, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

4. All information provided by you to SoundXposure.com is true, accurate, current and complete including, but not limited to your name, mailing address, email address and phone number and any other information required to sign up as a member.

5. You agree that the ownership of all uploaded works are the property of the artist uploading the work. All works uploaded must be original material and can not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. THIS INCLUDES SAMPLING OF OTHER ARTISTS WORK. Essentially, we do not allow covers, sampling or any other form of intellectual property theft. If you are not sure, do not take the chance. The artist is solely responsible for any actions relating to intellectual property rights infringement as a result of uploading any material to Soundxposure.com.

6. As the legal owner of all works submitted to SoundXposure.com, you give us full right to play your tunes, post ranking results and display artist information without compensation of any kind. In the event the artist enters into an agreement with any third party that will give them rights to your material, you must notify us in writing before the agreement goes into effect at. We can be reached at admin@soundxposure.com. After such agreement is in effect, we we will no longer play any artist’s work without written consent from the third party that holds the rights to your works. To further promote the success of the artist, we reserve the right to display a link to the website promoting the artist if such a website exists.

7. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any content that you upload, create, post, display, publish, e-mail, communicate, transmit or otherwise make available on the site. You are similarly responsible for your conduct and transmission of content to other Users. While we do not generally promote censorship, we must insist that extraordinarily lewd, vulgar, or violent content not be uploaded to SoundXposure.com. ABSOLUTELY NO RACIST OR HATEFUL CONTENT IS ALLOWED on SoundXposure.com.

8. All content is subject to removal at SoundXposure.com discretion without notice.

Violation of any part of this agreement will result in termination of your account without notice.

9. SoundXposure.com makes no warranty or assurance of performance of our website. You agree that the services provided by SoundXposure.com are provided “as is” and “as available” and SoundXposure.com is not liable for any losses as a result of your use of our services.

10. We are committed to the privacy of our users. Our privacy policy can be viewed here.

11. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice. You agree that your continued use of our service indicates your acceptance of any changes. Please review the terms and conditions periodically.
